COURSE CURRICULUM

The B.Sc. in Computer Science is a comprehensive, skill-oriented program designed to equip students with the technical and analytical expertise needed for careers in IT, software development, and digital innovation. The first semester provides a solid foundation in computer science, mathematics, programming, project management, and personal development. In the second semester, students advance their technical proficiency through modules in computer networks, programming labs, computer security, communication, and software engineering. The third semester deepens computational thinking with algorithms and data structures, databases, mathematics, and operating systems or web computing, complemented by a computer and media lab. In the fourth semester, students explore more advanced areas including cloud computing, statistics, imaging technologies, electronics for IoT, and an introduction to artificial intelligence and machine learning. The fifth semester builds on this with modules in embedded systems, data visualisation, engineering lab work, advanced AI/ML, and research and development methods. The sixth semester is dedicated to an International Training Experience worth 30 ECTS, allowing students to gain global exposure and hands-on practice in a real-world environment. In the final semester, students undertake a supervised internship or research project (18 ECTS) and complete their academic journey with a Bachelor’s thesis (12 ECTS). The program emphasises hands-on labs, interdisciplinary collaboration, agile project methods, and a strong international perspective.
