COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum of the program is structured across seven semesters and is designed to provide a balanced combination of intensive artistic training, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills development. Throughout all semesters, the instrumental main subject forms the core of the studies, beginning with 10 credits per semester and increasing to 13 credits in the final semester, ensuring continuous and in-depth artistic growth. Theory and science courses are integrated consistently, starting with 5 credits in the early semesters and expanding to 8 and 7 credits in the fifth and sixth semesters, strengthening analytical, historical, and academic understanding of music. Artistic-practical subjects support hands-on learning and performance skills, with credits gradually increasing in later semesters to reflect advanced practical engagement. Music and health modules in the first two semesters focus on physical and mental well-being for musicians, while transdisciplinary music education and didactics are introduced in the third and fourth semesters to develop pedagogical and educational competencies. Compulsory elective subjects run through all semesters, allowing students to individualize their studies according to personal interests and career goals. In the final semester, students complete either an artistic project or a written thesis worth 12 credits, demonstrating their artistic maturity, academic ability, and professional readiness.
