COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts in Law, Economics and Governance offered at the Berlin campus is a six-semester, interdisciplinary program taught entirely in English. It provides a comprehensive education that combines business, law, and governance to prepare students for international careers across the public and private sectors. In the first semester, students are introduced to fundamental concepts through courses such as Business Software, Financial Accounting, Management Information Systems, Applied Business Mathematics, and Language I. The second semester builds on this foundation with subjects like Marketing for the Digital Era, Cost and Performance Accounting, Operations Management, Financial Mathematics, and Language II. By the third semester, students begin exploring more advanced topics including International Law, Entrepreneurship and Business Simulation, Principles of Microeconomics, Applied Statistics, and Academic Writing and Research Methods. The fourth semester deepens understanding in Investment and Financing, HR and Organisation Management, Principles of Macroeconomics, Democracy: Theory and Practice, and Environmental Policy. In the fifth semester, the focus shifts toward the public sector and international relations with courses like Foundations of Public Administration, Advanced Topics in Law, and Global Governance, International Relations, and the EU as a Global Actor, along with the first part of a professional internship. The sixth and final semester continues the internship experience and culminates in a Bachelor Colloquium and the completion of a Bachelor Thesis. Throughout the program, students engage in real-world case studies, collaborative projects, and research-based learning while developing key soft skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership. The curriculum’s interdisciplinary nature encourages students to approach problems from multiple perspectives, equipping them to navigate complex global challenges responsibly and effectively. Graduates are well-prepared to pursue diverse careers or further academic studies, armed with a balanced understanding of economic, legal, and governance principles and the ability to apply them in a global context.
