COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor’s program in Applied Artificial Intelligence is a six-semester, 180 ECTS degree taught entirely in English and designed to combine strong theoretical foundations with extensive practical experience. The curriculum begins with core fundamentals essential to artificial intelligence, including programming, data structures, algorithms, mathematics, and statistics, ensuring students build solid analytical and technical skills from the outset. As students progress, they deepen their expertise in key AI domains such as machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, with a clear focus on understanding how intelligent systems are designed, trained, and applied in real-world environments. Practical learning plays a central role throughout the program, with project-based coursework that allows students to apply theoretical concepts to real problems using modern tools and technologies. In the fifth semester, students benefit from added flexibility, with the option to complete an internship to gain industry experience or study abroad to develop an international perspective. The program concludes with a Bachelor’s thesis, where students independently explore an applied or research-oriented AI topic. Overall, the curriculum is designed to prepare graduates for confident entry into industry or further academic research by combining technical depth, hands-on experience, and an understanding of responsible and effective AI application.
