COURSE CURRICULUM

Music Production Bachelor’s program focuses on writing and producing your own songs, covering the entire production chain from composition and sound design—whether with instrumental musicians or DAWs—to recording, editing, and mixing. Alongside your original tracks, you will also produce songs based on industry briefings. Complementary courses such as stylistics, ear training, harmony, and studio practice help address and solve creative challenges, while you also explore the rights and obligations of musical authorship. In the first semester, you build foundational skills in recording technology, acoustics, and applied music theory, learning music production basics with DAWs step-by-step. Artistic subjects like piano and choir complement your creative training, while popular music history, ear training, and practical projects such as the first semester concert round out your curriculum. The second semester deepens your knowledge of harmony theory, musical ear training, and digital audio technology, including sequencer workflows. Cross-school practical projects, sound studies, and electives encourage musical experimentation, while individual and ensemble lessons support your artistic development; these continue through to the sixth semester. In the sixth semester, you explore scenic and functional music, learning sound design, orchestration, and producing music for varied media contexts. You engage with sound synthesis, sample libraries, and plugins, and acquire project management skills to plan and execute live artistic productions, culminating in your own final concert. Before graduating, you demonstrate your expertise through studio production planning and execution, explore music’s relationship with film and games through independent composition, and develop a professional showreel with personalized guidance. The program concludes with a B.A. thesis, which may include artistic and creative elements, marking your readiness for a professional career in music production.
