COURSE CURRICULUM

The B.A. in Global Hospitality Management offers a comprehensive and internationally focused curriculum designed to prepare students for diverse careers in the global hotel and hospitality industry. The program begins with foundational knowledge in global hospitality industries, covering major brands, trends, and markets, while also introducing international hospitality management with a regional focus on Africa, America, and Asia. Students enhance their international business understanding and develop operational knowledge in areas such as lodging concepts and rooms division management. As the program progresses, students build expertise in international economics, event management, food and beverage operations, and research methods, all while strengthening language skills across four semesters. Academic writing, marketing, leadership, and financial accounting are covered in the third semester, laying the groundwork for strategic thinking and people management. In the fourth semester, students explore hospitality diversification through wellness, recreation, and technology-driven innovation including AI and extended realities, alongside courses in law, consumer behaviour, and hospitality finance. The fifth semester focuses on culinary innovation, beverage knowledge, and real-world F\&B operations projects. The final year emphasizes industry immersion with two internships, providing practical experience in hospitality settings, and concludes with a bachelor colloquium and thesis. This curriculum blends academic rigor with real-world exposure, fostering global competence and practical leadership.
