COURSE CURRICULUM

The B.A. in Advertising & Brand Design is structured to provide a thorough education in creative and strategic communication. In the first semester, students build a foundation in design principles, typography, photography, interactive design, advertising psychology, and communication sciences. The second semester focuses on advertising strategies, media and account planning, marketing fundamentals, creative techniques, and media sciences. The third semester deepens marketing knowledge, explores advertising’s societal impact, copywriting skills, brand design, client projects, and market research methods. In the fourth semester, digital advertising, brand strategies, advertising film production, client campaigns, and lab projects expand practical and theoretical skills. The fifth semester offers a 25-credit internship or semester abroad for real-world experience and a free project to explore individual interests. The sixth semester emphasizes advanced advertising writing, design trends, empirical market research, brand spaces, and future trend analysis. In the final, seventh semester, students develop their portfolios, receive career preparation and coaching, study entrepreneurship and media law, participate in writing workshops, and complete their Bachelor’s thesis. This comprehensive curriculum ensures students graduate with a strong creative and strategic skill set, ready to enter the dynamic world of advertising and brand design.
