ABOUT UNIVERSITY

SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, formerly known as OTA Hochschule, is a state-accredited private university located in Berlin and is part of the SRH Holding group. Established in 2002, the university began offering English-taught Bachelor's and Master's programmes in 2006, reflecting its strong international orientation. Today, it offers a wide range of Bachelor's, Master's, and MBA programmes in both German and English. With a student body of over 2,200 from around the world, SRH Berlin is known for its global outlook and its numerous academic collaborations with partner universities internationally.The university's leadership has included notable figures such as Rita Süssmuth, a former Federal Minister and President of the German Bundestag, who served as president of the university from 2005 to 2010. She was succeeded by Peter Eichhorn (2010–2014), and since 2014, the university has been led by Victoria Büsch. In 2007, OTA University joined the SRH Holding group, prompting a name change and deeper integration into a network of higher education and healthcare institutions. By 2016, SRH Holding oversaw 10 universities and universities of applied sciences. As a non-profit organisation, SRH Holding continues to focus on innovative, quality education and healthcare services across Germany.
