ABOUT UNIVERSITY

PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences in Germany, offering both on-campus and distance learning programs. Founded in 1994 and operational since 1995, PFH is headquartered in Göttingen, with an additional campus in Stade established in 2006. Since 2020, PFH has been part of the Galileo Global Education Group, a major international education provider. The university initially launched with programs in Business Administration and Business Informatics, later expanding into areas such as General Management, Business Information Systems, Composite Materials, Composites and Adaptronics, Healthcare Technology, and Business Informatics. Distance learning offerings include programs in Business Administration (Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA), Psychology and Business Psychology (Bachelor’s, Master’s), Social Work (Bachelor’s), Industrial Engineering (Bachelor’s), and Business Law (Master’s). In addition, the university runs the Management & Technology Academy GmbH (mtec-Akademie), founded in 1999, providing continuing education seminars for professionals. PFH is led by President Frank Albe, with Vice Presidents Joachim Ahrens, Antje-Britta Mörstedt, and Wilm F. Unckenbold. The university is supported by an Academic Advisory Board chaired by Axel Dreyer and a Board of Trustees comprising industry and business leaders. PFH operates fourteen distance learning centers across Germany and one in Austria, extending its educational reach beyond its physical campuses.
