COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s in International Business with a specialization in Sports Management and Media at Munich Business School is a focused three-semester program designed to combine business expertise with specialized knowledge of the global sports industry. In the first semester, students study core Sports Management and Media modules such as International Sports Business, Sports Communication and Media, and a Business Project, which provide a strong foundation in sports operations, media strategies, and industry-related problem-solving. Alongside these, students take International Business and Management courses, International Focus modules, and optional language classes to build global business knowledge and intercultural communication skills. Executive Skills courses, including Communication in International Business and MBS Engagement, help students strengthen leadership and professional abilities. In the second semester, students deepen their expertise through modules such as Digital Sports Management, Sports Marketing and Sponsoring, electives, and continued business project work. They also continue with International Focus, optional languages, and Responsible Leadership in a Global Context to enhance managerial and ethical decision-making skills. The third semester focuses on international exposure and practical experience through a Semester Abroad, an Internship, and the completion of a Master’s Thesis.
