COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s in Finance at Munich Business School is a comprehensive three-semester program designed to provide students with advanced financial expertise, global business knowledge, and leadership skills. In the first semester, students focus on core Finance modules such as Corporate Financial Management and Reporting, Valuation and Investment Strategies, and a Finance Project. These subjects help students build a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment planning, and corporate decision-making. Alongside these modules, students study International Business and Management, International Focus, and optional language courses to strengthen their global perspective and intercultural communication abilities. Executive Skills modules, including Communication in International Business and MBS Engagement, further develop professional and leadership competencies. In the second semester, students deepen their knowledge through advanced Finance modules such as Global Finance and Risk Strategies, Innovative Finance: Sustainability and Technology, electives, and continued Finance Project work. They also continue with International Focus, optional languages, and Responsible Leadership in a Global Context, preparing them for ethical and strategic leadership roles. The third semester is dedicated to practical and academic advancement through a Master’s Thesis and at least 15 ECTS selected from options such as a Semester Abroad or Internship. This balanced curriculum prepares graduates for successful careers in finance, investment, consulting, and management in global business environments.
