COURSE CURRICULUM

The study content of the Bachelor’s program in Web Applications and Software Development is designed to prepare students for high-demand careers in modern IT environments. The curriculum covers the full spectrum of web, mobile, and software technologies, enabling students to design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative digital solutions. The program begins with general studies that focus on scientific work and applied research, teaching students how to use research methods effectively and apply them in real projects. Fundamental modules in information technology provide a strong technical base, including technical support skills, web concepts and protocols, information systems, and the core principles of software development. Building on this foundation, the specialization in web applications and software development develops advanced competencies in front-end and back-end development, web scripting, and client-side technologies. Students also gain in-depth knowledge of mobile application development, secure software design, data management, software testing, and agile project management. Practical learning is a key element, with multiple project modules that progressively increase in complexity and allow students to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. The program concludes with a bachelor’s thesis and colloquium, where students complete, present, and defend an independent academic project.
