COURSE CURRICULUM

The core areas of the program are structured to provide a comprehensive and practice-oriented education in network technology and cyber security. It begins with general education and scientific work, where students gain foundational academic knowledge, learn scientific methods, and apply research skills through applied research activities. The program then builds strong fundamental IT skills, covering information technology basics, technical support, web concepts, information systems, and the essentials of software development. These modules create a solid technical foundation for advanced study. The specialization in network technology and cyber security forms the central part of the curriculum and focuses on both theoretical and practical competencies. Students study network technologies, operating systems, computer service skills, database administration, and IT security fundamentals. Advanced topics include routing and switching, IP-based networks, network management, wireless networks, unified communications, and network security. Troubleshooting, IP routing, and switching are emphasized to prepare students for real-world network environments. IT management concepts are also introduced to connect technical expertise with organizational needs. Practical learning is reinforced through a series of five information technology projects that gradually increase in complexity and simulate real professional challenges. The program concludes with a bachelor’s thesis and colloquium, allowing students to demonstrate their academic and practical competencies.
