COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA with Foundation in Media Design with a specialisation in UX/UI Design and AI provides a structured and practice-oriented pathway into contemporary digital design. In the first and second semesters, the program focuses on the fundamentals of visual design within both classic and modern media contexts, building a strong creative and theoretical foundation. Students study core areas such as media design principles, design and media discourse, typography, visual communication, interaction basics, as well as digital ethics and data protection. As the program progresses, students specialize in UX/UI Design and AI through applied, project-based learning. The specialization emphasizes user experience design, usability, and interface design for emerging technologies, alongside AI-supported design processes, data visualization, and virtual and augmented reality design. The program aims to develop innovative media design concepts while also fostering an understanding of how to successfully market and position design projects. Practical learning plays a central role, with UX/UI design projects conducted in collaboration with industry partners, AI-based prototyping workshops, and interdisciplinary teamwork on real-world design challenges. A dedicated practical semester in leading technology companies provides hands-on industry experience, enabling students to apply their skills in professional environments and prepare for careers in advanced digital design fields.
