COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fashion Management program in Berlin equips students with essential business knowledge and a deep understanding of the dynamic fashion industry, enabling them to navigate new technologies, online shops, digital distribution channels, and globalisation successfully. The curriculum covers the entire fashion value chain, from creation and production to distribution logistics, providing a comprehensive view of the industry’s complexity. Key modules include “Fashion in History and Theory,” which offers important context by exploring the history, terminology, and key clothing styles that have shaped fashion over time. In “Fashion Technologies,” students gain detailed knowledge about the production and refinement of materials, while also investigating emerging technical and digital trends that influence the industry’s future. The “Fashion Trends and Design” module focuses on the development of trends, teaching students how to analyse trend cycles and work collaboratively to create their own collections, including the creation of mood boards to visually communicate design ideas.
