Strategic Supply Chain Management extends this understanding by focusing on inter-organisational operations across sectors. Foundational analytical skills are developed in Statistics and Descriptive Analytics, while Operational Research and Prescriptive Analytics introduce decision-making models and optimisation techniques. Operations and Supply Chain Excellence explores lean practices, Six Sigma, sustainability, and supplier management to enhance organisational performance. Transportation and Logistics Modelling builds competence in facility location, network design, warehousing, and routing through modelling and heuristics. Global Sourcing teaches strategic purchasing, supplier selection, and commercial negotiation, while addressing digital sourcing trends. Forecasting and Predictive Analytics equips students with regression, exponential smoothing, and neural network techniques, all applied through case studies. The program concludes with either an industry dissertation, where students tackle a real business challenge in a client-facing setting, or a research dissertation, which allows for academic inquiry and methodological development.
