COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management and Accounting and Finance program provides a comprehensive education that merges foundational business theory with essential financial expertise. In the first year, students gain exposure to core concepts in management, economics, marketing, and accounting through modules such as Introduction to Management, Economics for Business, Principles of Marketing, and Introduction to Accounting and Finance. Business analytics and statistical methods are introduced early, alongside a strong focus on employability and career awareness. The second year builds upon this foundation by deepening financial knowledge through Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Finance, and Management Accounting for Business Decisions, while also exploring Accounting Information Systems and Auditing. Students further enhance their analytical and decision-making abilities through modules such as Spreadsheet Modelling and Techniques for Management Decision Making, with optional studies in operations, social media marketing, and microeconomics. In the final year, the curriculum moves toward specialised financial topics, including Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting I & II, International Financial and Risk Management, and Advanced Management Accounting, while allowing for broader strategic understanding through electives like Strategic Management, Sustainability and Ethics, and Business and Management in the 21st Century.
