COURSE CURRICULUM

The Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) specialization includes subjects that provide students with a comprehensive understanding of political systems, philosophical thought, and economic theory through an interdisciplinary approach. Students study political theory, gaining knowledge of the principles, concepts, and ideologies that shape governments, public policy, democracy, and political institutions. The curriculum also covers international relations, enabling students to understand global politics, diplomacy, international cooperation, conflict resolution, and the relationships between states and international organizations. Comparative politics allows students to examine and compare different political systems, governance structures, public policies, and political processes across countries. The philosophical component of the program focuses on ethics and epistemology, helping students explore moral reasoning, justice, knowledge, critical thinking, and the ethical foundations of political and economic decision-making. Economic studies include pluralist economics, institutional economics, planetary economics, and economic policy practice, providing students with diverse perspectives on how economies function, the role of institutions, sustainable economic development, and public policy in addressing global challenges.
