COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in International Management is structured across six semesters and is designed to equip students with both foundational knowledge and advanced skills in global business management. In the first semester, students begin with core courses such as Introduction to Business Administration, Financial Reporting, Business Mathematics, and Digital Competencies, alongside practical modules like Calculation Software and Business Communication and Correspondence. A specialization module in International Management: Environment and Strategy introduces students to global business dynamics. The second semester builds on this foundation with courses in Management Accounting, Statistics, and Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, while also developing research and communication skills through Scientific Methods and Moderation and Presentation. Specialization continues with Global Value Networks and Processes and International Marketing. In the third semester, students dive deeper into areas such as Law, Human Resources, Organizational and Change Management, Market Research, and Economic Policy. Project Management and Negotiation further enhance practical business skills, along with a specialization module in Global Supply Chain Management and Global Sourcing. The fourth semester is dedicated to a semester abroad worth 25 ECTS, offering valuable international experience and cultural exposure. An optional internship (5 ECTS) provides further practical insight. In the fifth semester, students focus on strategic topics with courses in Corporate Project, Strategic Management, and Sustainability Management and Business Ethics. They can choose specialization modules such as Controlling in Multinational Companies and Mergers and Acquisitions, with another opportunity for an internship. The final semester includes elective options in either Leadership or Innovation, alongside advanced specialization in People Management and Intercultural Competencies and Consulting. The program concludes with a Bachelor’s Thesis worth 10 ECTS, supported by the option of one last internship. This curriculum offers a balanced mix of academic learning, international exposure, and practical training, thoroughly preparing students for careers in the global business environment.
