COURSE CURRICULUM

The ICN Master in Management program is structured into two main years—Master 1: "Be Curious" and Master 2: "Be Creactive"—with the option of an experience year in between. In the first year, students begin their studies in Nancy, Paris, or Berlin by selecting an initial field of focus such as Finance, Audit & Control, or Risk Management. Semester 1 centers around responsible decision-making, financial management, marketing strategies, and information systems, while also offering domain-specific modules to explore areas of interest and courses in management control and professional English. Semester 2 emphasizes transformation and development, addressing digital and ecological shifts, business development, research methodology, and analytical tools, along with additional domain modules and courses in sustainable management and risk foresight. Between the two academic years, students may pursue an optional experience year, which could include an academic exchange, professional internship, or ICN certificate to gain additional skills and global exposure. In Master 2, students deepen their expertise by choosing a specialization within one of three key areas, including Finance (options such as Audit & Compliance, Corporate Finance, or Risk Management). Semester 3 includes modules on global transformations, live business cases, and advanced specialization courses, with an emphasis on responsible governance, leadership, and change management. Elective options allow for further personalization of the learning journey. In Semester 4, students gain hands-on experience through a professional placement and participate in seminars while completing a research thesis that consolidates their academic and practical learning. This modular, experiential, and internationally focused structure is designed to develop adaptable, innovative, and globally competent professionals ready to drive transformation across industries.
