COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Computer Science program equips students with advanced technical and analytical skills required for dynamic careers in today’s data-driven, digital economy. The course is designed to be studied either full-time over two years or part-time over a longer period. Candidates with relevant academic or professional experience may be eligible to complete the program in one or one and a half years, depending on their prior qualifications and work background. Please speak with our program consultants to assess your eligibility for a shortened study duration.The program is modularised, meaning each module carries a set number of ECTS credits and concludes with a formal examination or project. Depending on your chosen study track, the program may comprise 60, 90, or 120 ECTS credits. The 120 ECTS track includes a mobility window in the fifth semester, providing the opportunity to study abroad, complete an internship, or work on a business project—offering practical, global exposure to complement academic learning.The curriculum includes core subject-specific competencies such as business technology consulting, advanced programming, databases, and machine learning. Students also gain valuable hands-on experience in the Computer Science Application Lab and through a real-world business project in computer science. Core business modules in project management, digital transformation, and ethics ensure a well-rounded skill set that prepares graduates to take on leadership roles in tech-focused organisations. Intercultural and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence are also explored to develop responsible, globally aware professionals.The program concludes with a comprehensive research component, including scientific work methods tailored for computer science, a research seminar, and a master thesis—allowing students to investigate and solve a complex problem aligned with their interests and career goals.
