COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business bachelor’s program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a global business career. Core international business modules include introduction to globalisation, comparative country studies and political risk assessment, project management, international business law, global sourcing, international marketing, and leadership in a digitalised and globalised world. These subjects provide a solid understanding of the complexities involved in conducting business across borders. The program also covers general business competencies such as digital marketing methods, financial and cost accounting, human resource management, financial reporting, fundamentals of strategic management, finance and investment, and sustainability management. Digital competencies are an integral part of the curriculum and include digital transformation and cases, economics and digital economics, and innovation management in a digital and globalised world. To prepare students for diverse and international work environments, the program incorporates action and intercultural competencies through courses in foreign language, intercultural skills and ethics, and creative problem solving and strategy development. Practical experience is gained through internships and the option to study abroad during the mobility window. Scientific and methodological skills are developed through mathematical foundations, statistics, academic writing and research methods, culminating in a bachelor thesis.
