COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Management with Finance program offers a well-rounded curriculum designed to develop both broad business knowledge and specialised financial expertise. The course structure is organised around four key competency areas: general business competencies, digital competencies, action and intercultural competencies, and scientific and methods competencies.Under general business competencies, students gain essential knowledge across several core areas. These include fundamentals of strategic management, digital marketing methods, fundamentals of marketing, financial and cost accounting, HR management, project management, sustainability management, and leadership in a digitalised and globalised world. These modules provide the foundation needed to understand business operations and strategic decision-making across industries.Digital competencies are integrated throughout the program to reflect the importance of technology in modern business. Students explore digital transformation and real-world case studies, economics and digital economics, and innovation management in a digital and globalised world. These subjects prepare students to respond effectively to digital disruption and technological change.The program also includes action and intercultural competencies to ensure students are equipped to work in diverse, international environments. Courses in this category include foreign language, intercultural skills and ethics, and creative problem solving and strategy development. Students also complete an internship, applying their knowledge in a real-world setting, and can take advantage of a study abroad option during the fifth semester, gaining international experience in cities such as London, Shanghai, or Singapore.Finally, scientific and methods competencies support students in developing their analytical and academic skills. Modules in mathematical foundations, statistics, and academic writing and research methods provide the tools needed for evidence-based work. The program culminates in a bachelor thesis, where students conduct independent research and demonstrate their academic and professional capabilities.
