COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Digital Transformation Management at FHM is designed to provide students with a strong combination of academic knowledge, industry expertise, and practical skills needed to succeed in the modern digital economy. The program is built around FHM’s continuously evolving competency model, developed by educational scientists to ensure students are prepared for the challenges of today’s working world. The curriculum focuses on Professional Skills, which include transformation management, knowledge management, IT sourcing, digitalization and responsibility, transformation strategy, change management, digital entrepreneurship, Work 4.0, and participation in the Digital Innovation Lab. These areas help students understand how to lead and implement digital transformation effectively. In addition, the program develops Management Skills by covering topics such as digitization, megatrends, technology and innovation management, digital business models, digital value creation processes, the use of digital technologies, cyber digital champions, and cybersecurity. These subjects strengthen strategic thinking and leadership in digital environments. The Smart Skills component supports personal and professional development by integrating research and practical perspectives, as well as Study in Practice (SiP), which connects academic learning with real-world application. This comprehensive curriculum equips graduates with the professional, managerial, and entrepreneurial abilities required for careers in digital strategy, innovation management, cybersecurity, and business transformation leadership.
