Students specializing in alternative Mechanical Engineering learn to design and evaluate innovative production techniques for industries such as automotive manufacturing, with a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and future-oriented, environmentally conscious processes. The curriculum covers classical and modern manufacturing technologies, technology and innovation management, and Industry 4.0 and 5.0 concepts, enabling graduates to assess production systems and gain competitive advantages through new technologies. Alternatively, the Energy Management specialization with a focus on hydrogen prepares students to address global energy transition challenges. Learners develop in-depth knowledge of sustainable energy systems, hydrogen production, storage, transport, and application, as well as decarbonization technologies for industry and mobility. Core technical foundations include mathematics, physics, mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, electrical engineering, CAD, artificial intelligence, smart technologies, and intelligent energy systems. The program is complemented by business-oriented modules such as business administration, accounting, marketing and sales, strategic management, business law, agile project management, and digital business models. Practical studies, scientific work, and self-management further strengthen applied and research skills.
