COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor in Law, Politics and Economics at EBS University offers a unique and interdisciplinary curriculum that prepares students to understand and navigate the complex interplay between legal systems, political structures, and economic dynamics in a globalized world. The program emphasizes not only foundational knowledge in each discipline but also their interconnectedness, fostering critical thinking and leadership in a rapidly changing environment. Students gain methodological expertise across all three fields, enabling them to analyze and influence developments in both national and international contexts. Core study areas include principles of international law, civil and criminal law, European law, and international relations, providing a strong legal foundation. In politics, students explore international affairs, human rights, security policy, and the functioning of international organizations. The economics component includes introductions to traditional economic theory as well as contemporary topics such as the digital economy and sustainable development. A key strength of the program is its international orientation, which includes modules on European studies and corporate social leadership. In the later stages of the program, students choose a specialization area, either in digitalization or sustainability. Within digitalization, topics such as data protection, regulation of AI, platform economy, and social media governance are explored in depth. In the sustainability track, students examine environmental law, climate justice, and concepts like the degrowth economy. This forward-thinking curriculum ensures that graduates are not only well-versed in current global challenges but are also prepared to take on leadership roles with a sense of social responsibility and ethical awareness.
