COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Quantitative Life Science is a full-time, in-person, two-year program totaling 120 ECTS, structured over four semesters. The first three semesters combine core courses, electives, transferable skills training, and a strong research component. The final semester is dedicated entirely to the Master thesis.In the first semester, students from diverse academic backgrounds build foundational knowledge in Life Sciences and develop essential computational skills. The second and third semesters deepen understanding of Quantitative Life Science topics while offering opportunities to pursue personalized research projects and electives. These semesters also focus on enhancing transferable skills like communication and teamwork.The program’s curriculum is organized into five categories: Core modules (30 CP), Elective modules (15 CP), Transferable skills modules (15 CP), Research modules (30 CP), and the Master Thesis (30 CP). This structure ensures a balanced and comprehensive education, enabling students to gain theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and independent research capabilities in preparation for advanced careers in life sciences.
