COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering at Constructor University follows a structured four-semester curriculum totaling 120 ECTS credits. The program balances technical expertise, management skills, leadership development, and research through core technical modules, management courses, academic skill training, a capstone project, and a master thesis. Students complete 45 ECTS in Technical CORE Modules, 15 ECTS in Management Modules, 15 ECTS in Leadership and Academic Skills, 15 ECTS in a Capstone Project, and a 30 ECTS Master Thesis. They must take 15 ECTS of Software Engineering lectures and at least one 5 ECTS module each in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. The Software Engineering area covers systematic software development methodologies, while the Cybersecurity specialization begins with Cryptography and advances to security technologies at system and network levels. The Artificial Intelligence specialization includes machine learning, symbolic AI, and applications in cyberphysical systems. Management modules focus on product development, marketing, and change management and are all mandatory. The Capstone Project spans three modules designed to immerse students in the full software development lifecycle, ideally taken sequentially. Students interested in research may substitute one technical core module in the third semester with a Research Project within the faculty’s research areas. The program culminates in a six-month Master Thesis during the final semester.
