COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc in Software, Data and Technology (SDT) follows a structured and comprehensive three-year curriculum that emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical experience in computer science, data, and software development. In the first year, students build a strong base in mathematics and programming, including hands-on work with the Kotlin programming language. They also explore courses across disciplines, with at least 37.5 credit points coming from their intended major. Flexibility is built in, as students can still switch their major at the start of the second year. In the second year, the focus shifts to more advanced, discipline-specific CORE modules (totaling 45 CP), which deepen students’ understanding of software development, data analysis, and machine learning through rigorous academic training. In the third year, students further specialize by selecting 15 CP from advanced Specialization modules tailored to their interests and career goals. They also complete a mandatory two-month summer internship to gain real-world experience, helping them apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. The 5th semester offers opportunities to study abroad, enriching the academic journey, while the 6th semester is dedicated to a Bachelor thesis project, allowing students to engage in independent research and demonstrate their mastery of the field.
