COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc in Computer Science at Constructor University is a comprehensive three-year program designed to equip students with both theoretical foundations and practical expertise in modern computing. In the first year, students complete 45 credit points (CP) of CHOICE modules, including mandatory courses in Programming in C and C++, Algorithms and Data Structures, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, and Digital Systems and Computer Architecture (30 CP). These modules introduce core concepts such as imperative and object-oriented programming, formal logic, and low-level hardware operations. The remaining 15 CP can be tailored toward minors or other interests. In the second year, students deepen their understanding through 45 CP of CORE modules, with mandatory courses in Databases, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, and Automata Theory. They also choose from electives such as Machine Learning, Functional Programming, and Legal and Ethical Aspects of CS, or pursue modules from another field for a minor. In the third year, students undertake a mandatory internship to gain industry experience, with an option to pursue a start-up track. They also select 15 CP of specialization modules—ranging from AI and Cybersecurity to Web Development and Robotics—and complete a Bachelor's thesis. The fifth semester supports study abroad, enhancing global academic and cultural exposure.
