COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Relations, Political Science and History (IRPH) program offers a multidisciplinary, English-taught curriculum designed to equip students with a deep understanding of global issues through political science, history, law, and philosophy. In the first year, students complete 45 CP of CHOICE modules, including mandatory courses in Introduction to International Relations and Introduction to Modern European History, which develop foundational knowledge and academic skills. The flexibility to explore various modules supports informed major choices by the second year. Year two centers on 45 CP of CORE modules, combining mandatory courses such as International Political Economy, Advanced International Relations Theory, and History of Globalization, with elective options like Political Philosophy and Cybersecurity Governance, allowing students to deepen expertise or pursue minors. These modules emphasize critical thinking, theory application, and real-world relevance, including the impact of globalization, digital transformation, and decision-making processes in politics. In the third year, students prepare for their careers through specialization modules, research, and a mandatory two-month internship worth 15 CP, providing practical experience and professional reflection. An alternative start-up option is available for entrepreneurial students. The program also encourages international exposure via a mobility window in the fifth semester and culminates in a Bachelor thesis project. Overall, IRPH graduates are well-prepared for diverse careers or advanced studies, combining rigorous interdisciplinary training with practical skills and global perspectives.
