ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Constructor University, formerly known as Jacobs University Bremen, is a private, international research university located in Vegesack, Bremen, Germany. Established in 1999 with support from the University of Bremen, Rice University (USA), and the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, it began offering academic programs in 2001. The university provides bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across disciplines such as engineering, humanities, natural and social sciences. Most courses are taught in English, and about 80% of its student population is international, representing over 110 countries. In November 2022, the university was rebranded again as Constructor University. The campus includes four residential colleges, academic and administrative buildings, a modern Information Resource Center with library and digital tools, as well as sports, leisure, and park facilities. With a strong emphasis on global education and research, Constructor University aims to prepare students for international careers and leadership roles in various fields.
