COURSE CURRICULUM

MSc in Real Estate Management is structured over four terms and offers a comprehensive exploration of the principles, practices, and financial frameworks that define the global real estate sector. This program is designed to equip students with the analytical, strategic, and practical skills required to succeed in property investment, development, and management.In Term 1, students build a strong foundation with three core modules. Introduction to Real Estate Management provides an overview of the industry, key roles, and market dynamics. Fundamentals of Asset Valuation focuses on the techniques and principles used to assess property value, while Investment Analysis in Real Estate introduces financial tools for evaluating real estate investment opportunities and risks.Term 2 advances students’ understanding of complex investment and management strategies. Real Estate and Asset Portfolio Management explores methods for building and managing diversified property portfolios. Sustainable Practices in Real Estate examines environmental, social, and governance considerations, highlighting the growing importance of sustainability in development and asset management. Real Estate Finance and Capital Markets offers insight into the financial structures and instruments that underpin global property markets.Term 3 shifts toward legal frameworks and development strategies. Real Estate Law and Regulations covers the legal contexts within which property is developed, sold, and managed, focusing on both national and international regulations. Research Methods prepares students for their final project, teaching essential academic and industry research techniques. Property Development and Management provides a practical understanding of how real estate projects are planned, executed, and maintained, with a focus on both commercial and residential sectors.In Term 4, students complete a Dissertation. This final, self-directed project allows them to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program to investigate a specific topic in depth, demonstrating their ability to conduct independent research and contribute to professional practice in real estate management.
