COURSE CURRICULUM

The Engineering Management Master’s program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in both engineering and business disciplines, preparing them for leadership roles in technical and industrial environments. Delivered over three academic terms and a final dissertation term, the program is offered in a blended learning format, combining on-campus and online sessions. Teaching takes place from Monday to Saturday, across morning, afternoon, and evening slots, allowing for flexible study options. Students will also participate in academic research methods modules and have access to additional learning resources through the UNINETTUNO platform.The program offers three distinct specialisations: Project Management, Logistics, TQM and Supply Chain Management, and Sustainability and Energy Management. All specialisations share a common set of core modules, including numerical methods, organisational dynamics and behaviour, economics of innovation, corporate finance, production planning and control, and digital innovation. These modules build a comprehensive understanding of engineering management principles and contemporary business practices.In the Project Management specialisation, students will explore advanced project planning and execution strategies, preparing for complex roles across engineering sectors. The Logistics, TQM and Supply Chain Management path focuses on modelling for manufacturing systems, logistics operations, and quality control, helping students understand and improve supply chain performance. The Sustainability and Energy Management specialisation is tailored for those aiming to manage energy systems and implement sustainable practices within organisations.In the final term, students will undertake a dissertation on a topic of their choice, applying theoretical knowledge to a practical or research-based problem. The program structure ensures a balance between technical engineering knowledge and essential management skills. With a strong interdisciplinary approach and flexible delivery, the Engineering Management Master’s program is well suited for professionals seeking to advance their careers in diverse industrial and technological settings. Each pathway is subject to a minimum enrolment of 15 students to ensure a quality academic experience.
