COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in International Business is a structured four-term program designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of global business practices, supported by a strong foundation in core management disciplines. Delivered entirely on campus, the course includes access to supplementary learning materials through the UNINETTUNO platform and provides opportunities for students to develop both practical skills and academic research capabilities.In Term 1, students are introduced to Accounting and Managerial Finance, where they learn the financial principles necessary for effective business decision-making. Alongside this, the Marketing and Business Environment module provides insight into how organisations interact with external markets, customers, and global economic conditions, helping students develop a holistic view of the business landscape.Term 2 builds upon this foundation with Systems and Operations Management, which focuses on the efficient design and control of business processes and systems. Strategic Management and Leadership further enhances understanding of organisational direction and the skills required to lead successfully in an international context, preparing students for advanced leadership roles.In Term 3, students begin to specialise by selecting a pathway, tailored to their professional interests and goals. Each student takes two pathway-specific modules, offering in-depth knowledge in a chosen area such as finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, or operations. These are delivered alongside Research Methodology, a core module that equips students with the tools and techniques needed to conduct academic and professional research. This module is essential preparation for the final term dissertation.Term 4 is dedicated to the Dissertation, where students apply their research and analytical skills to a topic of their choice, related to their chosen pathway. This project is an opportunity to explore a specific issue in depth and demonstrate mastery of the subject. The dissertation serves as a capstone to the program and plays a critical role in preparing students for future professional or academic pursuits.
