COURSE CURRICULUM

This course offers a comprehensive and structured pathway into international business and management, beginning with a Foundation Year designed specifically for international students. The Foundation Year equips students with essential language, academic writing, and research skills necessary for undergraduate study. Modules such as English for Academic Purposes, Research and Study Skills focus on communication and critical thinking, while Introduction to Creative Business and Management and Marketing, Communication and Branding provide an early understanding of business principles and creative industries. The Creative Business Project allows students to apply what they have learned in a practical, team-based setting, preparing them for the demands of degree-level study. Upon successful completion, students progress into the BSc program, which begins in Year 1 by developing a solid understanding of how business and management operate in global organisations. Modules cover core areas such as International Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Strategic Management, and International Marketing. In Year 2, the program builds on this foundation by exploring more specialised topics including Managerial Accounting, Digital Economy and Transformation, Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Sales Management, and Operations Planning and Project Management. These modules offer insight into key business functions and prepare students for leadership roles in modern organisations. In the final year, students explore advanced concepts and can tailor their studies through a chosen pathway, subject to availability. Modules such as Industrial Organisation and Business Law and Cross-cultural Management help students navigate complex international environments, while the Dissertation provides an opportunity for in-depth, independent research in a chosen area of interest. This integrated course structure ensures that students are not only academically prepared but also professionally equipped to enter a global business environment with confidence and clarity.
