COURSE CURRICULUM

BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Digitisation is a structured program designed to prepare students for careers in computing, data, and digital industries. The foundation year, delivered via an international route, builds essential academic skills including English for academic purposes, research and study techniques, and introduces creative business and management concepts. Students also explore marketing, communication, branding, and complete a creative business project. In the first year, learners gain core knowledge of computer science through modules such as fundamentals of computer science, mathematics for computer science, algorithms and problem solving using Python, statistics for data analysis, database design and implementation, and international business administration, establishing both technical and analytical foundations. The second year advances into applied areas including machine learning, data visualisation, predictive analytics such as classification, regression and clustering, alongside digital economy and transformation, computer science for digital engineering using C++ and CAD, modelling and planning, and operations and project management. The final year, students engage with advanced topics like simulation techniques and advanced simulation techniques, and choose from specialist pathways, culminating in an independent dissertation that demonstrates research capability, technical expertise, and understanding of global innovations in digitisation and computer science preparing graduates for global technology careers worldwide success
