COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Management (Tourism) degree at Arden University is structured across three levels to provide a comprehensive understanding of business management within the tourism sector, combining practical skills with strategic insight. At Level 4, students build a strong foundation through modules such as Digital Skills and Professional Development, Contemporary Business Environment, Marketing Dynamics, Introduction to Business Finance, People Management, and Technology and Innovation, equipping them with essential knowledge of how organisations operate and how to manage key business functions. Level 5 focuses on applied and specialised tourism and business skills, covering Data Analytics and Management, Business Start-up, Sales Management, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Tourism Operations and Innovation, and International Destination Management, enabling students to analyse data, manage operations, and develop strategic approaches to global tourism management. Level 6 develops leadership and strategic capabilities through modules including Business Transformation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Corporate Governance Law and Ethics, Independent Study, Tourism Crisis Management, and Tourism Trends and Futures, preparing students to respond to complex challenges and emerging trends in the tourism industry. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience, ethical awareness, and transferable business skills, leaving them ready to pursue careers in tourism management, destination planning, hospitality operations, and other leadership roles within a rapidly evolving, sustainable, and international tourism sector.
