COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource Management) degree is structured across three academic levels, each designed to develop a combination of foundational knowledge, practical skills, and strategic insight. At Level 4, students begin with modules such as Digital Skills and Professional Development, Contemporary Business Environment, Marketing Dynamics, Introduction to Business Finance, People Management, and Technology and Innovation, providing a broad understanding of business operations and essential management principles. Level 5 builds on this foundation with a focus on applied skills and HR-specific knowledge, covering Data Analytics and Management, Business Start-up, Sales Management, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Resourcing and Talent Management, and People Analytics, equipping students to analyse data, manage teams, and make informed HR and business decisions. Level 6 develops strategic and leadership capabilities through modules including Business Transformation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Corporate Governance Law and Ethics, Independent Study, Future Leaders and Talent Management, and Reward and Performance, enabling students to address complex organisational challenges, lead teams effectively, and implement contemporary HR strategies. Across all levels, the program combines theory with practical application, preparing graduates to enter the workforce with a comprehensive understanding of business management, human resource practices, and leadership, alongside professional recognition through CMI and ILM accreditation.
