COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in International Business offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation and specialized knowledge for global business careers. The general education courses form the core of the program and help students develop critical thinking, communication, quantitative reasoning, and cultural literacy skills. These courses include Behavioral Psychology and Wellbeing, Introduction to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, Beginning Foreign Language I and II, English Composition, Global Perspectives on International Relations, Introduction to International Business, and Public Speaking. Together, they prepare students to communicate effectively and think strategically in international environments. The knowledge area courses focus on building expertise in business management, finance, marketing, and international operations through practical learning. Students study subjects such as Ethics and Law in International Business, Business Information Systems, Accounting I and II, Communication and Negotiation Skills, Applied Mathematics and Data Analysis, International Marketing, and a Capstone Final Thesis or Project. These courses provide both theoretical understanding and real-world application. In addition, elective courses offer flexibility to explore specific interests and gain career-enhancing skills. Options include Monetary Theory and Comparative Banking Systems, Leadership and Decision-Making, Select Topics in International Business, Economic Geography, Global Trends in International Relations, Import-Export Operations, Sales Management and E-Commerce, and Resources and the Environment.
