COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Wine and Hospitality Management offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop both technical expertise and business acumen in the wine and hospitality sectors. The program begins with foundational subjects such as wine regions, wine economics, wine markets, and food and beverage economics, alongside practical training in sommellerie, wine cellar management, and culinary art practices. Students also gain in-depth product knowledge through the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and explore creative and cultural aspects through art and wine. Key business skills are developed through modules in finance, employer branding, and designing restaurant concepts within hotel environments. The program then focuses on building successful ventures through entrepreneurship, sustainability and corporate social responsibility, wine tourism innovation, and both applied and strategic marketing. In addition to classroom learning, students benefit from immersive experiences such as field trips to French wine regions, an international study trip to a leading wine-producing country, and a Bordeaux campus immersion that includes visits to industry landmarks and vineyards. The program concludes with a six-month internship, a detailed report, and a final dissertation, ensuring students gain practical experience and in-depth knowledge to succeed in the global wine and hospitality industry.
