COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in International Purchasing and Innovation Management is structured across two main semesters to provide a comprehensive understanding of modern purchasing practices in a global context. The program begins by exploring the evolution of purchasing, helping students develop international purchasing strategies that align with a company’s overall goals and values. It then focuses on purchasing process management, where students learn how to effectively manage and optimise procurement activities across global supply chains. A key component of the curriculum is supplier relationship and innovation capture, which equips students with the skills to build strong partnerships with suppliers and foster collaboration to create value and drive innovation. The program also emphasises purchasing in a multicultural environment, preparing students to manage diverse stakeholders and navigate international business settings. In addition, students are trained in purchasing performance management, enabling them to monitor, evaluate, and communicate procurement outcomes to key stakeholders. Beyond academic learning, the program includes an international internship that provides practical, real-world experience, as well as a final dissertation that allows students to conduct in-depth research on a specialised topic. Overall, the program combines strategic insight, practical skills, and global exposure, preparing students for successful careers in purchasing and supply chain management.
