COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Global Supply Chain Management curriculum is structured across two semesters to provide a comprehensive understanding of both the fundamentals and advanced aspects of global supply chains. In Semester 1, students develop managerial and technical foundations by learning analytical tools, financial management, supply chain relationships, leadership, and research methods. They also study core supply chain functions, including production, transport, distribution, and overall global supply chain management through practical case studies. In Semester 2, the program focuses on advanced approaches and methodologies, such as designing robust supply chain networks, lean supply chain management, UML methods, and understanding the financial impact of supply chain decisions, including cash management. Students also explore international supply chain management by analysing economic environments, legal frameworks, and cross-border strategies. Key topics include risk management, decision making, intercultural management, change management, and sustainable supply chain design. The program includes an in-company mission and a study trip to enhance practical exposure. Additionally, students complete a six-month international internship, applying their knowledge in a real business context. The course concludes with a dissertation, where students develop theoretical models and apply them to real-world supply chain challenges, preparing them for global careers in supply chain management.
