COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Business Transformation for Sustainability is structured across two semesters, combining practical application with core theoretical knowledge to develop expertise in sustainable business practices. In the first semester, students engage in a Sustainability Action Lab where they explore creative approaches such as art thinking and sustainability factories, along with modelling techniques and business strategies aimed at driving impact. This is complemented by a module on the fundamentals of sustainability transformation, which covers sustainable business vision, environmental sustainability, consulting approaches, and research methodology. Students also focus on collaboration for transformation, learning how to work effectively on sustainability initiatives through corporate strategy projects, case competitions, and performance assessment methods such as sustainability reporting. In the second semester, the program shifts toward leadership and implementation, with a focus on change management for sustainability. Students study sustainable leadership, organisational change, and broader social transformation. They also gain practical knowledge through sustainability management tools, including sustainable communication, circular economy principles, and sustainable finance. Overall, the program equips students with the skills to design, implement, and manage sustainability strategies, combining innovation, collaboration, and leadership to address complex global challenges in modern organisations.
