COURSE CURRICULUM

The AI-Driven Software Technologies and Entrepreneurship program combines technical computing education with entrepreneurship, research skills, and practical industry experience. The curriculum is structured into several modules that together build strong foundations in software development, data analysis, mathematics, and business understanding. The research methodology module develops academic and analytical skills through courses in data analysis, research methods, academic writing, and a final paper, enabling students to work with evidence-based approaches. The entrepreneurship module introduces business-oriented knowledge such as accounting, budgeting, customer-centric product management, business process modelling, and the ethical and legal aspects of artificial intelligence. The mathematics module provides essential theoretical foundations in algorithms, data structures, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics, which support advanced computing concepts. The specialisation module covers core IT and software engineering topics including programming, databases, web and mobile applications, cloud computing, machine learning, deep learning, software testing, and system design, ensuring strong technical competence. Basic studies develop communication skills, self-management, and Estonian language basics. The internship module provides practical experience through software development projects, team collaboration, and professional industry placement. Overall, the program prepares graduates for careers in software engineering, AI development, IT consulting, and technology entrepreneurship by integrating technical expertise, research capability, and business-oriented thinking.
