UAE has rapidly grown into one of the world’s most important international trade hubs, supported by advanced logistics facilities, world-class port infrastructure and globally connected airports. Its strategic location and commitment to innovation have enabled the country to facilitate smooth and efficient movement of goods across regions. One of the most significant initiatives reinforcing this role is the World Logistics Passport, a global program launched by the UAE to enhance trade connectivity, strengthen cooperation between trading nations and streamline the flow of goods on an international scale. In this dynamic environment, UOWD’s Master of Supply Chain Management degree in Dubai is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage information, materials and processes both within and between organisations. The program is delivered through a balanced mix of lectures, applied learning and hands-on case studies, enabling students to link theoretical concepts with real-world practice. Students also gain access to the university’s Analytics Lab, where they can work with advanced supply chain analytics tools used in modern industries. The curriculum is built around four integrated themes that prepare graduates for the evolving landscape of supply chain operations. The first theme focuses on the foundations of business in the information age, covering essential topics in managerial accounting, marketing, organisational behaviour and operations management. The second theme introduces supply chain essentials for Industry 4.0, exploring strategic procurement, spend analysis, project management, quality management and business excellence. The third theme highlights how big data, analytics, blockchain and emerging technologies are reshaping supply chain systems, logistics and smart mobility. The final theme is an industry-based practicum in which students work on real or simulated business problems, applying their learning to develop or analyse a supply chain solution. Through this structure, the program prepares graduates to excel in a data-driven, technology-enabled global supply chain environment.
