COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Transformation program at the University of Wollongong in Dubai is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to lead digital transformation initiatives across industries. The 60-credit point program consists of ten subjects, including five core subjects, three electives, and a final project that counts as two subjects. Students with a bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, business information systems, or other relevant fields are eligible, while those from non-related backgrounds may gain admission through an interview and completion of remedial subjects. A minimum English language proficiency, such as an overall IELTS score of 6.0, is required. The program is structured into three main components: a core component covering essential concepts of digital transformation, an elective component that allows specialization in high-demand technologies, and a professional practice and research component for solving real-world problems. Core subjects include the fundamentals of digital transformation and Industry 4.0, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, research and design thinking, and data science. Students gain practical experience with modern technologies, analytical and strategic skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions. Graduates are prepared to bridge the gap between business and technology, lead transformation projects, and contribute effectively to organizational growth and digital innovation.
