COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering program provides a comprehensive foundation across multiple engineering disciplines through a combination of common, core, and capstone subjects, equipping students with the technical knowledge, analytical skills, and practical experience necessary for a successful engineering career. Common engineering subjects introduce fundamental concepts and tools essential for all engineers, including algorithm design and computer programming using MATLAB, which develops systematic problem-solving and computational skills. Students also study fundamental laws of motion, mechanics of structures, materials science, and electrical systems, gaining an understanding of the interrelationships between material properties, lifecycle considerations, and practical electrical principles. Mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and series, is integrated throughout to enable rigorous analytical thinking, while physics topics such as electromagnetism, waves, and quantum principles further support engineering problem-solving.Core subjects build on these foundations, offering in-depth exploration of specialized engineering areas. Students engage with chemistry for engineering, stress-strain relationships, fluid mechanics, differential equations, machine tools, mechanical design, dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Advanced topics include signal processing, electronic and digital circuit design, control systems, manufacturing engineering, project management, robotics, and embedded systems. These subjects combine theoretical knowledge with laboratory and workshop-based practical experiences to ensure that students develop both analytical and hands-on skills, preparing them for real-world engineering challenges. Statistical analysis and numerical methods are also emphasized for experimentation, modeling, and system optimization.Capstone and advanced subjects focus on integrating knowledge and applying it to complex, real-world engineering problems. Students undertake team-based product development projects, robotic system design, PLC implementation, industrial automation, and embedded control systems. These projects foster creativity, innovation, collaboration, and professional engineering practices. By completing this program, graduates gain proficiency in designing, analyzing, and managing mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems, equipping them for careers in mechanical, automotive, aerospace, control, and robotics engineering, as well as other multidisciplinary engineering fields.
