COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Business and Management Studies at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary education designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the global business environment. The program spans six semesters and is structured to combine theoretical foundations with practical application, totaling 180 credit points. In the first semester, students develop a solid grounding in management basics, economics, mathematics and statistics, marketing, and value chain management, while also enhancing business English skills to support professional communication. The second semester builds on these fundamentals with courses in human resources and organization, quantitative and qualitative research methods, financial accounting, digital media, and soft skills for employability. By the third semester, students are introduced to advanced topics such as law, controlling and cost accounting, big data management, digital transformation, applied research projects, and agile and creative methods, providing a strong analytical and strategic toolkit. The fourth semester emphasizes corporate management, finance, modern marketing, management consulting, digital work and lab sessions, international management, customer relationship management, and entrepreneurship, as well as elective courses that allow specialization in areas of interest. In the fifth semester, students can gain international exposure through a semester abroad or focus on practical experience with internships totaling up to 30 credit points. The final semester is dedicated to the Bachelor Thesis, supported by a thesis colloquium, where students integrate knowledge from previous semesters and demonstrate independent research, critical thinking, and applied problem-solving skills.
