COURSE CURRICULUM

The HND International in Business programme is structured across two academic years, with each year carrying a total of 120 credits and covering a range of industry-relevant business subjects. In Year 1, students build a strong foundation in core business concepts through modules such as Business and the Business Environment, Marketing Processes and Planning, Human Resource Management, Leadership and Management, and Accounting Principles. The programme also introduces Entrepreneurial Ventures, Managing a Successful Business Project, and Business Data and Numerical Skills, helping students develop practical, analytical, and decision-making abilities needed in modern organisations. These modules focus on understanding how businesses operate, how teams are managed, and how financial and marketing strategies contribute to organisational success. In Year 2, the programme expands into global and digital business topics, including the Global Business Environment, Organisational Behaviour, Digital Marketing, and International Marketing. Students also study Planning a Social Media Campaign and Tapping into New and International Markets, gaining insights into modern marketing trends and global expansion strategies. The final stage includes Research Project Part 1 and Part 2, where students apply their learning to investigate business issues, strengthen research skills, and develop practical solutions relevant to international business environments.
